Bathroom Remodeler in Vallejo, CA
Walk-in showers, freestanding tubs and vanities, built from the waterproofing up.
A bathroom is the smallest room in the house and the least forgiving. Water finds every shortcut, so the work that matters most is the part you never see again after the tile goes up: the waterproofing, the slope of the shower pan, the framing behind the vanity. E&MC Remodeling builds bathrooms from the inside out so the finished room holds up long after the photos are taken.
We work on everything from a small hall bath to a primary suite with a freestanding tub in a bay window. Vallejo homes from the mid-century decades often have tiny bathrooms with a single tub-shower combination, which makes every inch of layout count. Larger Marin County homes tend to ask for different things: walk-in showers, double vanities and the heated, spa-like details people want at the end of the day.
Because a bathroom touches several trades, our crew coordinates tile, plumbing fixtures, lighting and paint as one project. That is the main reason owners tell us they would rather have one contractor than five.
What sets our bathroom work apart
Waterproofing before beauty
We treat the shower and tub area as a water-management system first and a design second, because that is what keeps a remodel from becoming a repair.
Tile done with patience
Cement-pattern floors, marble-look shower walls and accent strips take layout planning. We dry-fit and mark lines before the first tile is set.
Photos from our own jobs
The tubs, vanities and showers pictured here are our own project photos, not catalog shots.
Bathroom Remodeler questions
How long does a bathroom remodel take?
A refresh with new fixtures and a vanity is quick compared with a full gut, where demolition, plumbing rough-in, waterproofing, tile and finishing each take their own days. Tile and glass often add lead time for custom sizes, so we sequence orders early.
Can you convert a tub into a walk-in shower?
This is one of the most common bathroom requests. It changes the plumbing and the floor, so we check what is under the tub before we promise anything, then we plan the pan, drain and waterproofing around the real conditions.
Do you install freestanding tubs?
Yes. Freestanding tubs need floor-mounted or deck-mounted faucet plumbing and a floor that can carry the weight, so the plan starts with the framing and the supply lines.
Will you supply the tile and fixtures?
We can work from fixtures you choose or help you narrow selections. Either way, the quote spells out who is buying what so nothing is a surprise.
